BIOGRAPHY: BONES
Bones was born and raised in Concord, Ca. Growing up on many different genres of music; it isnít surprising on how versatile Bonesí can be. Starting out by playing the guitar, Bones wanted to switch up his sound and decided to produce beats. He then began rapping and producing music all throughout high school.
“I went to a continuation high school called Summit.. I remember battling kids all throughout the day. It got to a point where the teachers had us battling in front of the class and I would just destroy dudes. And free styling aint even my thing!”
By the age of 18, Bones not only had one CD under his belt, but also was attending college. Always a favorite and top of his class, Bones was beginning to take his music more seriously. He not only helped put together a hip-hop show at the college, but also sold the most presale tickets. It was at that very college that Bones met one of the members of his rap group, L Nealli.
“Our group is called, ‘THE 808 KINGDOM’. We believe that everyone in the group is the king of their craft, with each member having their own unique skill. Me personally, I make beats, and have been known to be great at networking. The 808 is simply a deep drum kick that rattles the block. So, we consider to be living in the kingdom of slap…”
After helping form the group ‘The 808 Kingdom’, Bones has gone to do great things. He has toured the west coast alongside the hip-hop group Prototype, been featured on over 6 different albums, and has been known to produce some of the best club beats with a new school hyphy influence. Bones now resides in his own house that is only 10 minutes away from where he was raised. It is there where he comes up with his catchy hooks, hyphed out anthems, and deep metaphors. Already with so much accomplished, Bones still continues to press the envelope and take his career to the next level.
“I donít even think I got the voice for it, to tell you the truth…. I just rap cuz I donít want some other dude f**kiní up the beat that I made… Hahaha… But let me tell you one thing, and thatís a fact… Forget what you know, you aint seen or heard nothing yet… Every song Iím working on now is deeper than you think, and will remain relevant until the day I die… And Not even death can kill me.” – BONES
