Lord Neallion is a bay area artist who bases his life and ways on equality. Just as in the days of the King Arthur and the Knights of the round table, Lord Neallion feels as if everyone he meets, and holds in his Cipher, is a King or a Queen in their own right. He never feels as if one man or individual should be placed to much higher then another. He feels respect is given unless otherswise disproven. Hence the essence of the name Neallion. Lord Neallion is a combination of names denounced from several prior aliases. ìKingî or Lord Neallion was an electic collective of names he used through out various stages of his early rap career. After several years of indescion Nealli, short hand for Neallion, combined his the cluster of previous names to form ëKINGí Lord Neallion. He felt in doing so he retained the equal importance to all of the previous names and stages of rap artistry he created up to that point. He felt ìNeallionî was a name that held no bounds. It was a name that was out of the norm. It was a name that commanded attention even if at first thought obscure.
In addition, during the early stage of the name ëKINGí Lord Neallion. ëKINGí Lord Neallion was held as his full name of artistry but as the need to not overshadow, he often removes the ëKINGí.
The general feeling of the name Neallion is a also a self-proclaimed Vallejo derived thinking. Vallejo is one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the world. You can learn so much about human culture and the respect for others culture just from gowing up on the playgrounds of the Vallejo environment. He says you can soak ten different ways to work a hustle or run a game once you figure what every other culture names the game in their slang. Itís a unity and respect for whatever knowledge that comes across your path and your ability to soak it and flip it for a positive. Itís an understanding of what others in life bring to the table and provide. Itís a combination of making the world as one a true balance.
Neallionís artistry can be described as lyrically potent with various perspectives of both Philosophical and Realist thought. He doesnt have one style of music or one topic of focus. He feels heís a ìstudent of everythingî, he has to speak and express his mind as to whatever style he feels the most appropriate. His sound has been compared with artists such as: Andre 3000, Will.I.Am, Lil Wayne, & Mac Dre.
Recently Lord Neallion haS tasted a portion of his dream. As a founding member of the ‘Board Of Directors Muzik’ group, the goups first single “Actress on A Mattress” made it to radio. The world famous Bay Area radio station, 106.1 Kmel has played their song in roatation for the past couple months since March of 2011, on their Show Home Turf hosted by radio dj Big Von. After this achievement he truly feels his on the right path and he will continue to work hard to grow as an artist.
Now with all this said, Neallion grew up in Vallejo, Ca. The Vallejo community wasnít a totally peaceful society. It was no utopia. Shootings, stabbings, murders, robbery, and random acts of crime, seemed to at times, run rampant through its streets. Nealli once said ìDuring the day anything could happen, by night fallÖ it usually did get crackiní.î With so many cultural exhcanges Vallejo was known for the community love and its hate or misunderstandings. This still remains hand in hand. Neallion dedicates his understanding of life to this. He repsects the ups and downs that life can deliver. He sees Vallejo as the future of the world. He sees Vallejo as the glimpse into the future where true unity can be comprehended to eliminate all major misunderstandings, and Whether it’s true or it is not, he hopes his style and artistry can help spread unity behind music in the many communities of the world.
